What I help with

Identity, Difference & Belonging

Identity, shame, masking and minority stress, including neurodivergent- and GSRD-affirming therapy.

Does this feel familiar?

  • Masking or adapting to others has made it difficult to recognise your own needs.
  • You are exploring neurodivergence, gender, sexuality or relationship diversity.
  • Minority stress, shame or past invalidation affects safety and belonging.
  • Previous therapy felt too rigid, pathologising or disconnected from your lived context.

How therapy can help

The work is collaborative and does not assume that identity needs to be explained away, corrected or resolved into a fixed answer. Language and labels can be useful when they clarify experience, but they do not have to become another demand.

We can explore personal history alongside the real effects of environment, prejudice, sensory demand, masking and relationship safety. Present-state awareness helps distinguish discomfort that can be approached from situations in which protection or firmer boundaries are needed.
